§ 17. Mr. J. HARRISasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether the whole of the Reports upon slave owning and slave trading received by His Majesty's Government have been placed at the disposal of the British representative on the competent body appointed by the League of Nations to consider questions of slavery; and whether any instructions have been given as to the ultimate publication by the League of Nations of any Reports submitted by His Majesty's Government for the consideration of the special Committee?
§ The PRIME MINISTERThe British representative on the competent body appointed by the League of Nations to consider questions of slavery is in possession of all the necessary information. The Committee will ultimately present a Report to the Council, which will receive publicity. It will, of course, be within the discretion of the Committee to decide what it shall include.
