HC Deb 21 January 1924 vol 169 c529
73. Mr. LIVINGSTONE

asked the Postmaster-General whether his attention has been called to the dissatisfaction and inconvenience caused to the traders and inhabitants of Stornoway and the island of Lewis on account of the present inadequate mail and passenger service; and whether he will take immediate steps to secure the six-day-a-week mail service which the people of Lewis enjoyed before the war?

Sir L. WORTHINGTON-EVANS

I hope to be able to arrange for a six-day service as from the 1st February next.
