HC Deb 18 February 1924 vol 169 cc1318-9
Captain W. BENN

May I ask the Leader of the House, in reference to the Debate on Air to-morrow night, would it be possible for the representative of the Government to speak early in the Debate, so that we may have, for the first time, some pronouncement of their view?

The PRIME MINISTER

We will take that suggestion into consideration.

Mr. PRINGLE

Will the right hon. Gentleman recall that it is the old practice of the House on such Motions for a Minister to reply immediately, and that the other practice is only a bad practice established in the bad days of the Coalition?
