HC Deb 07 May 1923 vol 163 c1927

As amended (in the Standing Committee), considered.

Mr. SPEAKER

The new Clause standing first on the Paper in the name of the hon. and gallant Member for Central Hull (Lieut.-Commander Ken-worthy)— Special constables enrolled under this Act shall not be employed in any trade dispute is not one which I can select in its present form, but the point with which it deals is covered by a later Amendment in the name of the hon. Member for Central Newcastle (Mr. Trevelyan).

Lieut.-Commander KENWORTHY

I would prefer, myself, the Clause which stands in the name of my hon. Friend the Member for Central Newcastle. It covers the same point.
