JONESasked the Minister of Health whether he is aware that 508 the question of remuneration of municipal officers generally in the Metropolitan area is being considered by the Metropolitan Provincial Whitley Council; and, if so, whether he is prepared to accept the findings arrived at by the employers and employés constituting that body?
Mr. CHAMBERLAINThe answer to the first question is in the affirmative. As regards the second question, I am now in communication with the Metropolitan Provincial Whitley Council as to their proposed scales.
