asked the Under-Secretary of State for the Colonies what colonies, if any, are not participating in the British Empire Exhibition?

Mr. ORMSBY-GORE

The only Colonies and Protectorates which have definitely declared their intention of not participating in the British Empire Exhibition are

  • Gibraltar,
  • Gambia,
  • Somaliland Protectorate, and
  • North Borneo.
Fiji is still uncertain, but I am hopeful that it may be able to participate.
