By a notification dated the 17th May, the Governor announced the appointment of Raja Parmanand, Rai Bahadur, and of Lieutenant Nawab Muhammad Ahmad Sa'id Khan, C.I.E., M.B.E., of Chhatari, to fill these vacancies, and both gentlemen assumed charge of their office on the same date.
