HC Deb 01 August 1923 vol 167 cc1462-3
45. Mr. F. GRAY

asked the Prime-Minister whether his attention has been called to the refusal of Members of the House of Commons to agree to a Report of a Joint Committee of the two Houses in view of the controlling majority of the Members of the House of Lords on the Committee; and whether, in view of this last incident, he is now prepared to reconsider his decision as to the formation of future Committees of this kind?

The PRIME MINISTER:

I am not prepared to reconsider my decision in this matter.
