HC Deb 01 August 1923 vol 167 c1464
53. Mr. R. RICHARDSON

asked the Prime Minister whether he is aware that ex-temporary women clerks who entered the clerical class through the first examination thrown open to them are now in receipt of lower wages than those with two or three years' less established service, who entered through the 1920 examinations; and whether this anomaly will be remedied?

The FINANCIAL SECRETARY to the TREASURY (Sir W. Joynson-Hicks)

I would refer to the answer which I gave on the 26th July to the hon. Member for Lambeth North.
