Captain BOWYERasked the Postmaster-General whether he is aware of the wide dissatisfaction that is felt with the way in which the express post is working; is he aware that in very many cases an express letter takes just as long as an ordinary letter to arrive; and will he cause inquiries to be made so that the matter may be put right?
§ Mr. PEASEI am not aware of any general dissatisfaction with the working 1508 of the express post. I shall be glad to have inquiry made concerning the treatment of any particular letters if my hon. and gallant Friend will furnish me with details.
