31. Colonel NEWMANasked the Minister of Health whether, in view of the heavy additional burdens which have been thrown on the ratepayer, he has considered whether unoccupied property should be called on to make some contribution to the rates?
Sir A. MONOI have given this matter careful consideration, but I do not feel that I can make any proposal for legislation on the subject.
