2. Mr. L'ESTRANGE MALONE

asked the Under-Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether agreements have been signed with the Transcaucasian Republic regarding postal, telegraph, railway and consular matters; whether these agreements contained any reference to oil; and will he publish the full text of these agreements?

Mr. HARMSWORTH

His Majesty's Government have entered into no such agreements as those mentioned in the first part of the question; the second and third parts do not, therefore, arise.

Mr. MALONE

Have the Government entered into any agreement at all with those Governments?

Mr. HARMSWORTH

Certainly not in regard to any of these commercial arrangements to which the hon. Member refers.
