HC Deb 24 July 1922 vol 157 c18
34. Mr. ORMSBY-GORE

asked the Prime Minister whether he can arrange for the "Monthly Bulletin of Statistics "published by the Secretariat of the League of Nations to be made available by purchase through the Sale Office for Members of Parliament; whether the "Board of Trade Gazette "will in future republish extracts of value to trade and commerce from this "Monthly Bulletin"; and whether he can take any steps to get these valuable statistics more widely known and circulated?

The PRIME MINISTER

I have arranged with Mr. Speaker that the official in charge of the Sale Office shall obtain from the agents of the League of Nations in London any copies of the "Monthly Bulletin of Statistics" which Members may desire to purchase. I have also arranged for a copy of the Bulletin to be supplied regularly to the Library of the House. As regards the second part of the question, I do not think that the expense of reprinting in the "Board of Trade Journal" information which is already available to the public in the pages of the League Bulletin would be justified.
