62. Mr. MARRIOTT

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether Sir George Beharrel, who was Director of Finance at the Ministry of Transport at £2,500 per annum, and was subsequently appointed Secretary to the Committee on National Expenditure: and whether he has since been reappointed as Director of Finance at the Ministry of Transport at a salary of £5,000 per annum?
