§ Nothing in this Act shall prejudice or affect any express provision contained in any Act of Parliament or any Order confirmed by or having the effect of an Act of Parlia- 1878 meat relative to any superannuation or retiring allowance or any other allowance of a similar character in the case of any officer or servant referred to in such provision.
