HC Deb 06 May 1920 vol 128 c2224
40. Lieut.-Colonel MALONE

asked the Prime Minister whether the Port of Petrograd is blocked by minefields placed in the Gulf of Finland by the British Fleet; and whether, in consequence of this, 10 steamers already loaded at Petrograd cannot take the sea even after the freeing of the port from ice?

The PARLIAMENTARY SECRETARY to the ADMIRALTY (Colonel Sir James Craig)

I have been asked to reply to this question. The answer to the first part is in the negative. As regards the second part of the question, no such information has been received.
