HC Deb 06 May 1920 vol 128 c2240
82. Sir F. HALL

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether any police pensioners are being discharged from Government Departments to make room for disabled sailors and soldiers; and, if so, whether it is proposed to make any provision for these men by increasing their pensions, seeing that they have been deprived of their means of livelihood by the action of the Departments concerned?

Mr. SHORTT

I have not heard of any such discharges, nor has the Commissioner of Police. If, however, the hon. and gallant Member will supply me with particulars I will inquire.
