HC Deb 31 March 1920 vol 127 c1237
37. Mr. MacVEAGH

asked the Secretary of State for War whether he can state the total number of prisoners now interned in British prisons under the Defence of the Realm Act?

Major BAIRD

My right hon. Friend has asked me to reply to this question. The number is 102.

Mr. E. KELLY

Does that include the number who are imprisoned in Ireland? If not, will the hon. and gallant Gentleman give us the number for Ireland?

Major BAIRD

The question on the Paper refers to this country.
