HC Deb 29 March 1920 vol 127 c856
21. Commander Viscount CURZON

asked the Minister of Transport whether the subject of traffic signals has been considered by any of his Committees; and if any action can be taken in the future to secure the universal adoption of a standard code?

The MINISTER of TRANSPORT (Sir Eric Geddes)

I assume road traffic signals are referred to. Certain recommendations on the subject of road traffic signals have been received, and will in due course be considered by the Departmental Committee on the Taxation and Regulation of Road Vehicles. The question of the universal adoption of a standard code will be considered by the Committee.

Mr. G. TERRELL

Will the Report to which the right hon. Gentleman refers be published, so that we may have an opportunity of considering it?

Sir E. GEDDES

I will consider that when the Report is made.
