HC Deb 30 June 1920 vol 131 cc443-4
69. Lieut. - Colonel FREMANTLE

asked the Under-Secretary of State for the Colonies if and when he will publish the Report of the recent Committee appointed to inquire into the conditions of the Colonial Medical Service; and will he say what action he proposes to take on the recommendations of the Report?

The UNDER-SECRETARY of STATE for the COLONIES (Lieut. - Colonel Amery)

The Committee referred to has not yet presented its Report, and until the Secretary of State has received the Report and had an opportunity of considering it, it is not possible to say what action will be taken, or whether it will be published.

Lieut.-Colonel FREMANTLE

When is that Report likely to be actually delivered?

Lieut.-Colonel AMERY

I think it will be very soon. I believe it is being printed at this moment.
