HC Deb 17 June 1920 vol 130 c1440
36. Captain W. BENN

asked the Prime Minister what amount of munitions of war has been sold to Spain since the Armistice; and whether any condition is laid upon the purchasers as to the ultimate use of these munitions?

The PRIME MINISTER

No munitions of war have been sold to Spain since the Armistice with the exception of: 5 D.H. 6 aeroplanes (less engines) on 18th December, 1919, and 10 Avro aeoplanes (complete with engines) on 10th November, 1919.

Captain BENN

Does that apply to private purchases as well as purchases made by the Spanish Government?

The PRIME MINISTER

I think so.
