asked the Minister of Transport whether he is aware of the great inconvenience caused to the inhabitants of Newmarket by the lack of any train running from London later than 7.2 p.m.; and whether he will arrange to run a local train to Newmarket in connection with the 8.22 p.m. train from Liverpool Street to Cambridge?

I am informed by the Great Eastern Railway Company that, commencing on Monday, the 12th July, a local train will leave Cambridge for Newmarket at 10.30 p.m. running in connection with the 8.22 p.m. train from Liverpool Street.
