HC Deb 19 February 1920 vol 125 c1040
55. Mr. RAFFAN

asked the Prime Minister whether his attention has been called to the recommendation of the Select Committee on the Land Values Duties that the evidence tendered to them should be printed for the information of the House of Commons; if so, whether any decision has been arrived at as to whether this shall be done; and, in the event of an affirmative decision, whether the evidence so printed will in elude that tendered by Dr. J. Dundas White on behalf of the United Committee for the Taxation of Land Values?

Mr. CHAMBERLAIN

in accordance with the recommendation of the Committee the evidence is now being printed and will be circulated in the form of a Command Paper in the near future. The answer to the last part of the question is in the affirmative.

Mr. RAFFAN

Can the right hon. Gentleman say whether there is any intention to reappoint this Committee with or without extended terms of reference?

Mr. CHAMBERLAIN

I should like notice of that question. So far as my information went, the Committee did not desire to be re-appointed.
