HC Deb 19 February 1920 vol 125 c1028
37. Mr. HIGHAM

asked the Prime Minister if, in view of the fact that increased production in industry is essential, he will consider the advisability of taking off every restriction on business now in force under the Defence of the Realm Act?

Mr. BRIDGEMAN

I have been asked to reply. It has been the object of His Majesty's Government since the Armistice to remove all restrictions on business as rapidly as possible, and this policy will be continued.
