HC Deb 10 August 1920 vol 133 c235
79. Mr. SITCH

asked the Minister of Transport whether he will explain the delay in setting up national joint and appeal boards to deal with wages of railway clerks?

The PARLIAMENTARY SECRETARY to the MINISTRY of TRANSPORT (Mr. Neal)

It is not proposed in present circumstances to set up Central and National Boards to deal with the salaries of railway clerks, and there has therefore been no delay.
