HC Deb 19 November 1919 vol 121 c919
73. Mr. A. SHAW

asked the Secretary of State for War whether his attention has been called to the case of Private D.! Hood, No. 52313, Royal Scots, who is now suffering a sentence of one year's hard labour for a military offence committed I in Russia; whether he is aware of this man's record of good conduct and of gallantry; and whether, in view of all the mitigating circumstances, this soldier can now be released?

I am inquiring into this case, and will write to my hon. Friend as soon as I am in a position to do so.
