Sir A. BOSCAWENThe acreage under potatoes in Great Britain this year is 630,600 acres. The estimates of production are not yet available, but the yield will probably be below the average. There is, however, unusually little disease this year. No statistics concerning Germany have yet been published so far as I am aware.
§ 61. Captain Sir SEVILLE STANIERasked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Board of Agriculture whether he can give the number of cases of wart disease in potatoes up to 1st November; and what was the figure up to the same date in the years 1916, 1917, and 1918?
