§ 33. Mr. SEDDONasked the Minister of Health whether he is aware that the demand made by the Director of Building Materials to supply a large quantity of fireclay sinks and fireclay closets to be used in connection with the State-aided housing schemes is being made impossible by the limited coal supply; and whether he can arrange with the Coal Controller for an adequate supply to prevent delay in house-building?
§ The DEPUTY-MINISTER of MUNITIONS (Mr. Kellaway)I have been asked to answer this question. Adequate provision has been made for the supply of sanitary ware to meet the requirements of the State-aided housing schemes. No complaints of a shortage of coal have been received from manufacturers.
