HC Deb 05 November 1919 vol 120 c1479
73. Mr. GWYNNE

asked the Secretary of State for War why women who are discharged from Queen Mary's Army Auxiliary Corps on medical grounds after service overseas cannot be awarded a pension from the Ministry of Pensions in the same way as soldiers?

Mr. FORSTER

Members of the Queen Mary's Army Auxiliary Corps are provided for under the Injuries in War (Compensation) Act. The Ministry of Pensions Act transfers to the Ministry the disability pensions of officers, nurses and soldiers only.
