§ 92. Mr. R. YOUNGasked the Financial Secretary to the War Office whether the Regulations re Discharge by Purchase from the Army are in abeyance in relation to those who have voluntarily joined 'the New Army in any of its branches; and, if so, whether he can state when the Regulations will again become operative, especially in relation to lads under nineteen years of age who have joined up unknown to their parents?
§ Mr. FORSTERAs I have previously stated, I cannot agree to the purchase of discharge from the Army so long as the Naval, Military and Air Force Service Act is in operation.
