HC Deb 28 May 1919 vol 116 c1220
62. Sir J. D. REES

asked the Lord Privy Seal whether, following upon the recent announcement made regarding beer, the Central Control Board (Liquor Traffic) will soon be abolished and liberty restored to the British public in respect of the temperate use of alcoholic liquors?

Mr. BONAR LAW

As I have already stated, the question of the revision of the arrangements now existing for the control of the Liquor Traffic is under the consideration of the Government.
