HC Deb 20 May 1919 vol 116 c192
50. Lieut.-Colonel LOWTHER

asked the Prime Minister whether the British dele gates have formulated our claims in full against the enemy countries; and if he is in a position to state the sum total of the enemies' monetary indebtedness to the British Empire?

I cannot add anything to what has already been said on this subject.

Lieut.-Colonel LOWTHER

Has the Leader of the House any valid reason for giving evasive answers? [HON. MEMBERS: "Order, order!"]

That is not a proper form in which to put a question.
