HC Deb 15 May 1919 vol 115 c1753
36. Captain ORMSBY-GORE

asked the President of the Board of Trade whether he has yet succeeded in making arrangements with the Ministry of Shipping and the War Office so as to increase the accommodation available for civilian passengers between Ireland and England, especially between Kingstown and Holyhead?

Mr. BRIDGEMAN

I am informed by the Ministry of Shipping that a considerable number of steamers have now been released from Government service, or are now being released to the Irish cross-Channel services, so that it is hoped that adequate accommodation will be available.
