Mr. ROBERT YOUNGasked the Home Secretary whether his attention has been called to the general practice of the Kingston county bench to insist that declarations under the Vaccination Act, 1907, shall be made at the court; whether this practice causes extreme inconvenience to large numbers of parents living at a long distance from the Kingston courthouse; and whether he will repeat the action of a former Secretary, and advise the bench in question that such practice is unfair to those who desire to make declarations under the Act?
§ Sir H. GREENWOODYes, Sir, and my right hon. Friend has been in correspondence with the justices on the subject. The chairman of the bench informs him that they are modifying their practice in accordance with the suggestions which he has made to them.
