NIELDasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether, in view of the diversion of capital from this country consequent on the claim of the Inland Revenue to assess for taxation the profits made abroad of an English registered company, though such profits may not be remitted here, he will introduce Amendments in the Finance Bill in order to discourage investors from adopting the growing practice of registering companies in foreign countries and of transferring the principle office of English companies abroad?
