§ 24. Captain LOSEBY
asked the President of the Board of Education if he will take steps to ensure that inspectors of national schools are in future appointed, as far as possible, from the ranks of trained teachers?
§ Mr. FISHER
The Board of Education have always attached great importance to the experience gained from a recognised course of training for the teaching profession; but I cannot undertake to restrict the appointments in the Board's inspectorate to persons who have received such training.
