§ Mr. FORSTERThe qualification for the London separation allowance is actual residence in London at the time of separation. If it were granted in the cases referred to in the question, it would be impracticable to refuse it in any case where the soldier's wife wished to move into London. That was not the intention of the extra allowance, and I am afraid I cannot alter the rule so as to include such cases.
