HC Deb 12 March 1919 vol 113 c1277
52. Sir HENRY NORMAN

asked the Prime Minister whether it is his intention to make any announcement or suggestions regarding the methods of celebrating the conclusion of peace; and, if so, whether he will bear in mind the desirability of affording local authorities ample time in which to consider the matter and make adequate preparations?

Mr. BONAR LAW

The subject has been considered by the Government, but any announcement at present would be premature. The answer to the last part of the question is in the affirmative.
