Blower, was requisitioned under the Defence of the Realm Act, in January, 1918, as being necessary for officers' quarters for Admiralty officials stationed at Cardiff; that no rent has been paid to the evicted tenant for the premises; that no compensation has been paid for loss of garden produce and out buildings, on which the tenant claims to have spent considerable money; and that no payment has been tendered for house fittings summarily taken over; if he is aware that the evicted tenant still pays rent for the property to the owner; and whether it is the intention of the Department to deal expeditiously with the tenant, who claims to have already suffered considerable financial loss?
