HC Deb 06 March 1919 vol 113 cc578-9
13. Captain MARTIN

asked the Pensions Minister whether he will take steps to make a man's pension statutory when he has been before three medical boards and still found to be suffering from the disability for which he was discharged?

Sir L. WORTHINGTON-EVANS

The course proposed by my hon. and gallant Friend would not be practicable. A disablement pension is based on the existing degree of incapacity, and can only be made permanent when the disablement has reached its final condition.
