HC Deb 03 March 1919 vol 113 c31
83. Mr. LORT-WILLIAMS

asked the Pensions Minister whether he is aware of the many cases of motherless children now in homes whose fathers are or will soon be demobilised, but who have at present no homes ready to take their children to; and whether he will take immediate steps to empower local subcommittees to continue the care of such children?

Sir J. CRAIG

My right hon. Friend is aware that such cases have arisen. The matter is under his special consideration.
