§ Mr. MONTAGUI propose to lay full Papers, but I cannot at present name a date.
§ Colonel YATEMay I ask the right hon. Gentleman if it is not necessary we should have these Papers at once, in view of the grave question of giving an armistice to the Afghans?
§ Mr. MONTAGUYes. But through the India Office or from Simla full information of the negotiations has been published. I am waiting until the Viceroy receives the Ameer's answer to his latest communication—which may be a matter of a few days—and then I propose to lay Papers before the House.
