HC Deb 29 July 1919 vol 118 c1921
40. Mr. HOPKINS

asked the Secretary of State for War if his attention has been called to the case of Henry Kent, late No. 32119, Duke of Cornwall's Light Infantry, who volunteered in 1914, served in France and Salonika, overstayed his leave for six weeks while recovering from malaria, and is considered to have forfeited the whole of his war gratuity; and will he at any rate grant a part of the gratuity?

Mr. FORSTER

I am having inquiries made into this case and will let my hon. Friend know the result.
