HC Deb 21 July 1919 vol 118 c887
47. Mr. LAMBERT

asked the Prime Minister if he will state when the activities of the Central Control Board (Liquor Traffic) will cease; and whether the experience and activities of that Board will be utilised in forming any new body, having regard to the diminution in the convictions for drunkenness in both men and women that has resulted from the action of the Central Control Board (Liquor Traffic) during the war period?

Mr. BONAR LAW

The answer to the first part of the question depends on the date of the proposed Bill which I have already announced. With regard to the second part, the considerations to which my right hon. Friend refers are not being lost sight of by the Government.
