HC Deb 14 July 1919 vol 118 c32
85. Mr. DENISON-PENDER

asked the Minister of Health whether his attention has been called to the proposal of the Wandsworth Borough Council to erect houses on the Furzedown Estate, Wandsworth; and, if so, what arrangements have been made with the allotment-holders on that estate?

Major ASTOR

My right hon. Friend is aware of the proposal of the Wandsworth Borough Council to acquire the Furzedown Estate, Wandsworth, for the erection of working-class houses, but understands that the negotiations for the purchase are not yet completed. I am informed that the borough council have under conideration the position of the allotment-holders.
