KINLOCH-COOKEasked the Prime Minister whether, in view of the industrial unrest prevailing through out the country, unrest that is being exploited in many instances by persons desiring to see a general movement made against law and order, he will consider the advisability of instituting at once some form of propaganda with a view of explaining to the workers the true position of affairs and bringing home to their minds the elementary principles of political economy?
§ Mr. BONAR LAWThe Government is in process of taking all reasonable means to make the true facts of the industrial situation known to the people.
§ Sir C. KINLOCH-COOKEWill means be taken through propaganda such as was undertaken in regard to active service and war loans?
§ Mr. BONAR LAWI do not think that there will be any advantage in detailing the steps that have been taken, but instructions were given some time ago and are being carried out by the Ministry of Labour.
