  1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Housing (Additional Powers) Act, 1919.
  2. (2) The provisions of this Act, other than the provisions thereof relating to powers of borrow- 1167 ing for the purpose of the Housing Acts, 1890 to 1919, the Public Authorities and Bodies (Loans) Act, 1916, and the acquisition of land for the purpose of garden cities and town-planning schemes, shall continue in force for two years only from the commencement thereof, and no longer:

Lords Amendment: In Sub-section(2), after "1916," insert the words "trustee securities."—Agreed to.
