HC Deb 07 August 1919 vol 119 c554
82. Brigadier-General WIGAN

asked the Minister of Labour how many discharged soldiers who have been passed for training by the local war pensions committees are waiting for training?

The MINISTER Of LABOUR (Sir Robert Horne)

The returns received from local war pensions committees are incomplete, and even when received would not, from the point of view of the question, be of very much value. It is certain, however, that sufficient facilities do not exist at present. Every effort has been, and is being, made to supply the deficiency as rapidly as possible.
