§ 91. Mr. RAPERasked the Under-Secretary of State to the Air Ministry whether it is the intention of the Air Council to continue the training of cadets and officer pupils who have already received part of their instruction so as to form an Air Force Reserve similar to the Special Reserve of the Army, so that a number of aviators can be called up for training for a set period in each year, thus securing to this country an adequate reserve of aviators prepared for any national emergency?
§ Major-General SEELYThere are already more than sufficient trained pilots to meet all the requirements of the Royal Air Force Reserve, so far as can be anticipated, and it is not considered necessary to call upon cadets whose training is not completed.
