§ Dr. MACNAMARAThe report from Surgeon-Commander Falconer Hall has been received, and the question of what improvements can be effected in the conditions of the sick-berth staff is at present being considered. Some improvement has already been effected in the prospects of advancement of this branch by an increase in the number of chief petty officer ratings.
